I have been a musician, lover of music and instructor for over 25 years. Some would say that I am an expert in the wind instruments! My goal with this site is to make choosing the right wind instrument much easier by providing valuable information about your options and how you should go about picking the perfect instrument.
Years ago when I first started taking on students I noticed how many parents would spend a tremendous amount of money on instruments that were just too advanced for student purposes. I also noticed that other parents were not putting enough effort into finding the right instrument.
I realised that parents and others were folding under pressure from pushy sales people in the music stores so I started providing advice about the best options. That advice has grown into this website. I have found that it is more important than ever today to have some direction when there are so many options out there!
